Welcome to the website of the Indigenous cancer research network (IC-Hope). IC-Hope is a virtual network of Indigenous and non-indigenous researchers in Canada and the USA. IC-Hope is designed to increase the generation of and access to information about Indigenous cancer and cancer care resources. By facilitating culturally relevant cancer research we strive to contribute to improving the quality of life of Indigenous people with cancer and addressing disparities in cancer survival rates.
The Network provides a virtual gathering place for researchers to share information and resources. The website provides information about the formation and vision of the Network, member profiles, journal articles, reports, presentations, a library of culturally relevant cancer care materials, and links to related websites. We welcome you to browse the website, download articles and resources, and upload your articles and resources. The network encourages researchers to disseminate their findings here and to draw from each others’ knowledge and experience. IC-Hope facilitates collaborative research through a growing list of researchers involved in Indigenous cancer research funded by CIHR and NCI. Indigenous and non-Indigenous researchers are welcome to join the Network. To become a member click here. You'll find the option to join our email discussion board on the left sidebar.
